The So7 Bistro Is Almost Here

If you are like most So7 residents, you have been anxiously awaiting the grand opening of the So7 Bistro. Well, the day is quickly approaching. On September 1st, the So7 Bistro officially opens to the public, so we thought we’d write a quick post to whet your appetite.

If you haven’t heard, the So7 Bistro will be a modern restaurant where traditional French cuisine meets the flavors of the American market. Owner Jean Michel Sakouhi has truly outdone himself with the menu, which will feature seasonal dishes with only the freshest ingredients.

We haven’t had a sneak peek of the interiors yet, but it sounds exceptional—casual, contemporary and remarkably chic. With a fine collection of wines, the So7 Bistro will be the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing lunch or a memorable dinner. And who knows? You might even catch brunch on Sundays.

Brownstone Serves Up the Right Ingredients

dinnerIf you’re looking for a delectable dinner, you don’t have to look very far these days. You don’t have to walk very far either. That’s because Brownstone, a new Southern-inspired restaurant, is the latest addition to the West 7th district and is within walking distance to So7.

When we say that Brownstone is new, we mean it. The 5,000 square-feet restaurant just opened last week, and already it’s drawing the attention of foodies, critics and So7 residents alike.

In addition to its stellar location, Brownstone has the talent to match. The Executive Chef is none other than Casey Thompson. You may remember Thompson as the runner-up from season three of Bravo’s hit TV show Top Chef.

Let’s Welcome Chuy’s to the Neighborhood

chuysWe are so pleased to welcome Chuy’s to So7! As the third restaurant to open at Parkside, Chuy’s brings a fun eclectic Texas tradition right our own neighborhood.

The original Chuy’s restaurant was started in Austin, in an abandoned barbecue joint on Barton Springs Road.
