News articles can be added in posts section and categorized and tagged for easy search. Traditional “blog” posts could also be added here and categorized and tagged differently. If we plan on having a mixture of news and blogs, I’d recommend changing the title of the page to something like News/Events/Blog.

However, if we want to separate News & Events from blogs, there can only be one “blog” on the site under this single Wordpress installation. So, if we want to reserve the opportunity to add a true blog (totally separate from news), we should change this back to a regular page and create a blog page. We can turn the blog page off for now.

I think the first option is fine but I can set it up either way. – CDT
